Currently: Android 14
When Fairphone 5 launched, it shipped with Android 13, but has since been updated to Android 14 (15 Jul 2024). This phone was originally released on 8 / 2023.
Upcoming updates?
Expected: Android 15, Android 16, Android 17 and Android 18
Fairphone has promised to deliver these major Android versions for Fairphone 5: Android 15, Android 16, Android 17 and Android 18.
However, this is only the manufacturer's promise, as far as we know - Fairphone might release even further updates to the phone later or might end support earlier on.
