When Google Pixel 9a launched, it shipped with Android 15, but has since been updated to Android 16 (10 Jun 2025). This phone was originally released on 3 / 2025.
Upcoming updates?
Expected: Android 17, Android 18, Android 19, Android 20, Android 21 and Android 22
Google has promised to deliver these major Android versions for Google Pixel 9a: Android 17, Android 18, Android 19, Android 20, Android 21 and Android 22.
However, this is only the manufacturer's promise, as far as we know - Google might release even further updates to the phone later or might end support earlier on.
