When Xiaomi 17 launched, it shipped with Android 16, but has since been updated to Android 17 (15 Jul 2026). This phone was originally released on 2 / 2026.
Upcoming updates?
Expected: Android 18, Android 19 and Android 20
Xiaomi has promised to deliver these major Android versions for Xiaomi 17: Android 18, Android 19 and Android 20.
However, this is only the manufacturer's promise, as far as we know - Xiaomi might release even further updates to the phone later or might end support earlier on.
