When Xiaomi Redmi A3x launched, it shipped with Android 14, but has since been updated to Android 15. This phone was originally released on 5 / 2024.

Xiaomi has promised that Xiaomi Redmi A3x will get Android 16. However, this is only the manufacturer's promise, as far as we know - Xiaomi might release even further updates to the phone later or might end support earlier on.
Based on what we currently know, the expected Android 16 will be the last Android update for Xiaomi Redmi A3x. After this update, the device might get security patches, but wont get any new major Android versions to it.
