When Motorola Edge 50 launched, it shipped with Android 14, but has since been updated to Android 15. This phone was originally released on 8 / 2024.

Expected: Android 16 (last version ever)
Motorola has promised that Motorola Edge 50 will get Android 16. However, this is only the manufacturer's promise, as far as we know - Motorola might release even further updates to the phone later or might end support earlier on.
Based on what we currently know, the expected Android 16 will be the last Android update for Motorola Edge 50. After this update, the device might get security patches, but wont get any new major Android versions to it.
